Crisis Intervention of Houston's award-winning private hotline services equip your nonprofit organization with trained, confidential telephone counselors to assist clients 24 hours a day, seven days a week through your organization's exclusive phone number.
Each call is answered by dedicated, trained, nonjudgmental counselors who help callers achieve a sense of calm and then help them identify a next step, or access the resources they need, using a database of more than 6,000 greater Houston-area services. A multi-lingual service, callers can talk with counselors in the language they prefer.
A private hotline service partnership with CIH allows your organization to:
- Provide your clients with an outlet to address personal crisis, 24 hours a day, seven days a week
- Obtain proprietary reports about the types of calls your hotline is receiving to better understand what new programs or support services might be beneficial for your clients
