Volunteer

We are excited that you are interested in applying to volunteer or intern with Crisis Intervention of Houston.

*Before you complete the application and pre-test survey, please review the following:

• We require that our volunteers be at least 16 years of age. Any volunteer under age 18 must provide consent from a parent or legal guardian.
  

• A background check will be conducted on all volunteers and interns. Additionally, we require three references to whom you are not related. For student volunteers and interns, at least one reference must be a teacher or professor.
  

• There is a non-refundable $35 materials fee for all hotline volunteers and interns.
  

• An initial commitment of twelve (12) hours a month for twelve (12) months is required.
